The Stag is situated in a quite cul-de-sac at Dalnabay, set beneath the Cairngorm Mountains and just 5 minutes walk to the village of Aviemore’s shops, bars, cafes and restaurants.
Property information
Bungalow: All on the ground floor, with step to entrance.
Living/dining room: With wood burning stove, two sofas, one being a sofa bed. There is a large TV with Sky Cinema & Sport.
Kitchen: With electric oven, electric hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher and washer/dryer.
Bedroom 1: The master bedroom has a en-suite with shower over bath and a toilet. There is a super king zip and link, which can be change to two twin beds if requested prior to check-in.
Bedroom 2: With twin beds.
Bedroom 3:With full size bunk bed
Bathroom: With shower over bath, toilet and heated towel rail and under floor heating.
Sauna:
Bed linen, towels, guest products and guest pack of tea, coffee, sugar and milk are supplied.
This lovely and cosy property is also pet friendly as we understand how hard it can be to find good quality 4-star accommodation that welcomes your pet as well. The owners of the Stag will welcome up to 2 dogs at the property and to make your pet feel really welcome they will even get their own doggie welcome pack to use during their stay. There are lots of great walks from the property for you to give your four legged friend their daily walk and if you want to go out for a meal or have a drink during your stay, there are many pubs and restaurants that are dog friendly in Aviemore and the surrounding area.
The Stag has good accessibility as the property is all on the ground floor. There are three-bedrooms, with a double master bedroom has a super king zip and link bed with en-suite with under floor heating and heated towel rails. ( We can make this room up as a twin. Please give us a minimum of 48 hours notice to do this). The second bedroom is a twin bedroom and has two solid oak single beds and the third bedroom is a bunk bedroom with a solid oak bunk bed. There is also a leather double sofa bed in the lounge for extra guests. The family size bathroom has a shower over the bath and there is a small shower cubicle next to the sauna for shower after a invigorating sauna.
The sitting room and dining area will seat up to 8 guests. There are two sofas and two tub chairs with a good size dinning table and chairs to cater for a large families or groups. There is a large TV with Sky Cinema & Sport.
The Stag has the extra comfort of a large wood burning stove in the lounge for cosy nights in by the fire and a sauna to relax in at the end of an active day out. There will be a welcome basket of logs, kindling and firer lighters ready for you at the property for your first nights fire during October-April. If you would like to use the fire out of season we are happy for you to do so, just pop into our reception and ask for some logs.

The owners of the Stag would be happy to welcome a maximum of 2 pets at the cost of £7.00 per night per pet. Each doggie guest will be given a “Doggy Welcome Pack” which contains a dog towel, doggy blanket, a dog bow and a list of walks to help make your dogs stay enjoyable too.
