This 4 star property is just a 10 minute walk from the center of Aviemore making it an ideal for base for touring this beautiful area either with or without a car.

Electric central heating (partial underfloor), electricity, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi included. Travel cot and highchair available to hire at £12 each dogs £7.00 per pet per night.

Ptarmigan Cottage is a pet friendly semi-detached single storey property which offers you 4-star quality accommodation for 4-6 people. The property is situated in a quiet cul-de-sac within the Silverglades private development at Dalnabay, beneath the Cairngorm Mountains and just a 5 minutes’ walk to the village of Aviemore’s amenities and leisure facilities.

The property has one double bedroom with a modern and stylish master en suite shower room with electric towel rail and underfloor heating. The second bedroom is a light yet cosy twin bedroom which is ideal for two children or another two adult guests. There is also a double sofa bed in the lounge area for you to be able to sleep up to six guests.
There is a modern and stylish family bathroom next to the twin bedroom with a shower over the bath, electric towel rail and underfloor heating. The sitting room has been furnished in a light and fresh highland style in duck egg blue and tartans tones. The walls have some lovely highland theme art and the dining area wall has a full wall map of the area which is great to view the places in the area you would like to visit.

Enclosed back garden with seating and brick BBQ. There is a secure wall bike bracket at the side of the property to lock your bikes.

Ptarmigan Cottage is fully equipped to meet all your holiday needs and you can call into our onsite reception which is open 7 days a week 9am-5pm if you need any help or advice on places to visit in the area.

Ptarmigan
The property has taken its name from the rock ptarmigan which is a medium-sized gamebird in the grouse family. The Ptarmigan undergo seasonal changes of plumage, from white against winter snowfields to grey or brown, with barring, in spring and summer against tundra vegetation and can be seen on Cairngorm Mountain, or you can see a photo of a Ptarmigan on the main feature wall in Ptarmigan Cottage.
