Birchwood Cottage is in Aviemore on a quiet residential street on the edge of a beautiful mature Silver birch wood home to a wide variety of native Highland wildlife, including roe deer and red squirrels.
You will often see deer roaming in the wood and may even have them grazing on your front lawn.
Birchwood Cottage has a open lawn at the front of the house with an enclosed gated garden at the back of the property with a lawn and mature flower beds with shrubs and plants. There is a patio area with a BBQ, table and seating for you to be able to unwind in after a busy day of exploring the many activities that the Cairngorms National Park has to offer.
Birchwood Cottage is a three bedroom detached single-storey property. It can sleep 6 guests and has a double bedroom, a twin bedroom and a bunk bedroom with a adult size bunk bed. There is a family bathroom with shower over the bath, a cloakroom and a kitchen with side door out to the off road parking and garden. The sitting room with dining area has a large window, giving the room good natural light. The living room has been furnished in a highland style with red tartans curtains, cushions and tartan throws over the two brown leather effect sofas. The added feature of a log burning effect electric fire in the sitting room creates a cosy feel in the room.
We understand how hard it can be to find good quality accommodation that welcomes your pet as well, so we are pleased to say that the owners of this property will welcome guests with up to 2 pets and to make your pet feel really welcome they will even get their own doggie pack to use during their stay.
Birchwood Cottage is located in Aviemore in the Cairngorms National Park set a quiet residential location on the edge of a Silver birch wood. The property is just a 15 min walk into the in the centre of Aviemore’s shops, pubs and restaurants and a 5 minute walk to our Silverglades reception.

We would be happy to share knowledge of this beautiful area. We also offer an out of hours emergence phone contact for our guests.
