The Golden Eagle has a large open plan living area, which is ideal for family gathering and large group stays.

Sauna.
The Gold Eagle has two double bedroom each with en suite shower rooms, two twin bedrooms and a double sofa bed in the lounge which is only recommended for 1 adult or 2 children. All come with top quality linen and towels provided. It has a fully fitted designer kitchen with quality appliances and utensils and a generous expanse of surfaces ideal for the keen cook.
This beautiful property is finished to the highest standard and has the added feature of an indoor sauna to relax in after a active day out skiing or hill waking in the Cairngorm National Park. After your sauna you can snuggle up by with a wee dram or hot drink by the large wood burning stove. There will be a welcome basket of logs, kindling and firer lighters ready for you at the property for your first nights fire during October-April. If you would like to use the fire out of season we are happy for you to do so, just pop into our reception and ask for some logs.
Both young and old guests will be excited to hear the whistle and hiss of steam as the beautiful vintage Strathspey Steam Train chugs slowly by at the bottom of the garden. You can take a ride on this train from the Aviemore station which is just a 10-minute walk from your property. The steam train runs regularly between Aviemore, Boat-of-Garten and Broomhill station.
The property is situated in a quite cul-de-sac at Dalnabay, set beneath the Cairngorm Mountains and just 5 minutes walk from the foot path near the property to the village of Aviemore’s shops, bars, cafes and restaurants,which is ideal for nights out when you don’t want to take the car.
We understand how hard it can be to find good quality 4 star accommodation that welcomes your pet as well, so we are please to say that this property will welcome up to 2 dogs.There is a £7.00 per night per pet charge. To make your pet feel really welcome they will even get their own doggie welcome pack to use during their stay. .
If you are away with your dog you will be pleased to know that many of the pubs and restaurants are dog friendly in Aviemore and the surrounding area.

Pet Friendly Property
The owners of the Golden Eagle would be happy to welcome a maximum of 2 pets at the cost of £7.00 per night per pet. Each doggie guest will be given a “Doggy Welcome Pack” which contains a dog towel, doggy blanket, a dog bow and a list of walks to help make your dogs stay enjoyable too.

Silverglades is unique from other self-catering business as we offer our guests the peace of mind by knowing that their property is only a short distance from our onsite reception which is open 7 days a week 9am-5pm for guests to be able to check-in, check-out or just pop in and see us if they have a problem or if they would like to ask for information on places of interest to visit in the area. We would be happy to share knowledge of this beautiful area. We also offer an out of hours emergence phone contact for our guests.
