We are so lucky to have such an amazing selection of fresh local produce to choose from in Speyside. With a range of restaurants and business where you can enjoy beautifully prepared food made by talented cooks to give you a taste of the Highlands.
With a lot of visitors coming up for a festive stay we thought we would share some of the amazing places that you can shop for local produce, eat out or best of all have freshly prepared meals delivered to your property, taking the stress out of cooking.
LOCAL PRODUCE FOR YOU TO COOK
Rothiemuruchus Estate Farm Shop. Just a 10-minute drive from Silverglades and you can find a wide selection of locally produced meat, vegetables, cheese, whiskies and gift hampers. Rothiemurchus is a working farm, so they butcher their own beef and venison on site from their own Highland cattle and Red deer on the estate. There also have the Barn Cafe and takeaway that is situated opposite Rothiemurchus Farm Shop, open Thursday to Monday from 9.30am – 4pm, serving breakfast, daily specials, warming stews, soup, sandwiches, cakes, coffee tea and more!

- Meat box: Our Rothie Meat Box contains a selection of different cuts of beef and venison from our own Highland Cattle and Red Deer from our farm. This will include larger joints, to roast, along with a variety of different steaks, burgers, mince, braising cuts, and homemade pork sausages, depending on availability.
- Recipe Meal Kits: This is a great way to try out some delicious Highland produce all ready for you cook yourself with recipe and all the ingredients you will need.
- Essentials A small box of essentials, so that you are prepared for your arrival, or to send you on your journey. We have included Grahams's Milk, Sharon's Free-range Eggs, Stichill's Jerseys Butter, Mountain Cafe Gingerbread Granola, freshly baked bread, and raspberry jam.
