Fun River Rafting

The Fun River ‘White Water’ Rafting trip is on gentle but fun grade 2-3 rapids and suitable for groups or families with children 10 years +. Enjoy the beautiful scenery and wildlife whilst having some great fun with the family or friends. The trip lasts about 2.5 hours on the water.

£49pp when booked with Silverglades accommodation. Normal retail price is £55pp

Session Days and Times

Scheduled trips on Thursdays meeting in Aviemore for 10am and clients will be finished by 3pm. (any days for groups 6+)

For ‘Fun River Rafting’ Return transport to clients vehicles is included in the price, we meet clients at the FOA meeting place near Aviemore and lead the way to the river where clients park their cars at the put in, so we then return clients to the put in at the end of the trip.

What to Bring

All clients need towels, spare clothing, sun screen, hats if cold and sun hats if warm plus snacks and drinks. Clients also need to bring any medication they might need with them and tell our instructors prior to session starting and also disclose any other medical or injury history which might effect them during the session so that we may care properly for them.

For Rafting float trips clients are asked to bring their own waterproofs and warm clothing if cold, as we can provide it but it is easier for clients to wear their own clothing, plus they need dry shoes and socks for afterwards, we always recommend a full spare set of clothing just in-case. Swimming ability is not a requirement for any of our activities but clients should notify instructors of weak or non swimmer ability so that we can care according for clients on the activities.
